22" barrel in .45-70 govt caliber. Harrington & Richardson produced this Little Big Horn Commemorative in 1973. It is basically a quality American made copy of the US Springfield Model 1873 Trapdoor Carbine. Features: full blued round barrel with sporting front sight, no rear sight was installed and an officer's model type tang sight at wrist. The frame block side plate, hammer, release, trigger guard and butt plate are case colored and are engraved. The side of the loading block is stamped "Little Big Horn". Add on case colored metal grip cap. Bottom of stock is stamped "P". Black stamped "US Model 1873". Fine bore and action. Wood is excellent, with a couple minor dings at the toe and heel. Near new inside and out.
