Octagonal 34-1/8” barrel stamped “HENRY” between breech and notched rear sight, dovetailed German silver front sight, .39 caliber rifled bore and patent breech. Replaced contemporary percussion lock. German silver furniture including butt plate, endcap, engraved trigger guard, and barrel key escutcheons. Brass ramrod thimbles, oval wrist escutcheon and oval side plate. Figured maple half-stock, wooden ramrod with faux striping. Barrel re-blued and marking worn, contemporary lock. Stock sanded and refinished, with scattered marks from use and one crack behind lock screw. Furniture has protective coating, some wearing off and trigger guard with worn engraving.
