26" barrel in .32-20 WCF caliber. Manufactured 1896. It is a standard rifle that retains lots of original condition. Features full octagon barrel, full magazine, blue finish, original sporting rear sight, and German nickel knife blade front sight. The two piece walnut forend is the border incision variation (not checkered). The straight grip walnut stock is excellent, proud to metal, with no cracks or chips. The frame retains approximately 75-85% of the original high polish Colt factory blue while the screws retain generous amounts of their original Nitre high polish blue finish. The forend is also in excellent condition with no cracks. Barrel has razor sharp legends and edges, and retains approxinately 80% of the original Colt high polish blue finish. Tube is a mix of blue and soft brown patina. Action is perfect. Strong, clean, shiny bore. Far above average example of this medium frame pump action.
