Manufactured in 1882. 12 bore, 29-3/4” Damascus steel barrels, 2-1/2” chambers with solid matte rib with single brass bead. Left barrel with modified choke and right barrel with improved modified choke. Hammer action marked “Colt Pt. F A Mfg Co.” on each lock plate, double triggers. Walnut semi-pistol-grip buttstock with checkered wrist and maker’s hard rubber butt plate. Checkered forend with Deeley release. LOP from front trigger is 13-3/8”. Good condition, as found, with barrels retaining Damascus pattern with brown even patina overall, muzzle of left barrel with gouge, bores with some pitting. Action has light brown patina and very good markings. Lever screw is marred. Buttstock has crazed original finish and scattered marks from use, checkering worn. Forend is replaced and excellent.
