Exceedingly fine example of an oak and glass display cabinet for a gentlemen's haberdashery shop. Having a hinged lid with thick glass top and a mirrored back panel. The front glass panel is etched with the shop logo and the words "Haberdashery/ Houston/ Dallas/ Importers Gentlemen's Est 1882/ Canes, Swords, and Silk Umbrellas, and Cigars" with two branches tied with a bow. Inside of the cabinet is a grate for upright displaying of the canes, swords, and umbrellas and a tiered wooden bottom. Includes an assortment of 69 canes and walking sticks, with all but one of the stacked horn variety. Most are in excellent condition for their age with an array of handle designs and shapes.
