Made during the Gold Rush period, circa 1865. Marked on the haft of the blade by maker "Will & Fink, S.F. Cal.", this is the hunting style of knife they made. They were one of the two prominent knife makers in San Francisco. This example is much larger than their normal hunting style. Beautifully grained and mellowed stag grips. Beautiful condition; blade retains 70% original polish with some very minor pitting. Grips in fine condition.
