This early hat has a tin lithographed label attached to the front that reads "Adams Express Company". The label was made by C.W. Shonk Lith., Chicago. The label has only a very light rub on the top. Hat itself does have some tears to the band on the right hand section, and there are also some tears to the leather band on the inside. Hat is a size seven.
