Circa 1860. Face of the watch is signed "Walthum". Watch is yellow gold with mosaic design; six panels of gold quartz bordering center circle of gold quartz. Black, grey and rose colors. All in fine condition; usual cracking, one small partial chip to the edge of one panel. Back of case is engraved with a floral design. Attached to a chain with six links; each with quartz slabs to the front and back in rose and grey colors. Fancy gold floral separators between links. Bar for buttonhole in vest is decorated with two slabs, one grey and one rose. Large, very ornate spinner-style fob with grey quartz on both sides, raised with beveled edges. Fob in fine condition; a few natural cracks.
