All blue wool cavalry dolman trimmed on collar and breast with yellow worsted cording. Single breasted with five rows of buttons, 18 in each row. Center row are brass ball buttons, remaining row are two piece convex buttons bearing backmarks, "SUPERFINE/QUALITY". White worsted cording trim composing Russian knot on cuffs possibly later application. Lined with polished cotton in body and white cotton broad cloth in sleeves. One pocket inside left breast. Hook and eye closure. Tag bearing original trooper's name, "PTE. EJ. BAGGE.", in black ink. Later name applied in blue ink, "TRAKE".
