Black, fur-felt chapeau with original white silk liner, but leather sweatband missing inside. Ends trimmed with gold bullion tassels. Front finished with pale blue and white ribbon cockade surmounted by gold bullion loop and button, the latter bearing a rampant, crowned lion with sword in paw. Chapeau shows slight wear with tear on the reverse on the top, lining is loose. Original pressboard hat box with marbled paper covers. Separate top with string tie. Case top separating, paper cover coming off in areas.
Condition: (Very Good).
