Late Victorian. With fur body and scarlet hanging bag with silver soutache, three silver cords around crown with attached silver cap lines Bag has a silver bullion trim. Brown leather lining with stream. British label with crown stamp. Stamped "Cater & Co., London". Shows wear to edges, missing plume. Original Japanned tin carrying case with top handle and front latch. Two big dents, scratches, and paint loss on the case. Latch works.
