Maker marked on hilt, spear point, large blood groove, animal hoof and shell hand guard, grips are adorned with two acorns on each side with lion head pommel. In excellent condition with the original leather scabbard with nickel accents and acorn hanger. Small dress sword is in excellent condition and appears to be pre World War II as this style is not found in the WWII catalogs. Blade is not etched. This dress sword comes with an Eickhorn catalog in a binder. Very scarce variation of a Forestry dress sword.
