Includes a 20th century theatrical or reproduction chapeau bras of wool felt with circular ribbon cockade and gold button and black binding, no lining (good); an early 20th century bicorne chapeau of pressboard covered with black hatter's plush with white silk lining bearing gilt stamp of "Cooling, Lawrence & Sons, London", trimmed with gold lace binding with black feather edge trim, tri-color cockade of red/white/blue surmounted with gold bullion loop and convex gold button bearing rampant, crowned lion holding an axe within shield (very good); an Imperial German (Bavarian) officer's cap of Saxon blue body with scarlet band and welt in crown edge, patent leather visor, leather sweat and glazed silk lining bearing silver-stamped label of Heinrich L [obscure] man of Munich (very good); a French officer's kepi, early to mid-20th century with scarlet crown bearing gold soutache quatrefoil trim, maroon or burgundy velvet cap band with gold lace trim, black patent leather visor and chinstrap of gold ending in small gilt buttons bearing fascia encircled by serpent, black leather sweat and black silk lining bearing Paris maker's stamp of Ets. Saadetian, 18 & 19 rue de Picardie (slight indent in front, part of leather sweat loose, otherwise quite good); a late 20th century Russian visored cap of dark blue with scarlet band and edge welting, faux leather sweat and synthetic lining (missing chinstrap, otherwise very good); a Canadian pill box cap of dark blue with red welt edge trim and broad gold lace hat band and gold bullion "button" on top of crown with leather sweat and scarlet silk lining, bearing maker's label of William Scully Ltd of Montreal (2" slit in cloth on top of crown, otherwise good); an Imperial Russian Astrakhan busby with black sheep or goatskin band around red felt skull, trimmed with gold lace and cord and gilt, half-ball button on top and stamped metal, Imperial eagle device in front with gilding, silvering and enameling, black leather sweat and brown silk lining (fair to good, crown dented in with some soiling and wear); a French mid-19th century 3rd Republic Shako with leather visor and tapering crown composed of press board covered with hatter's plush, top of crown made of recessed leather, edged with silver lace, cap trimmed with silvered brass front plate of rooster over panoply of arms and hunting horn, silvered chin scales, black leather sweat and red lining inside, marked in pencil inside top: "A[?]/ Georges/1860"; tuft or plume socket inside loose, no tuft present (fair).
