The French officer's coatee, the main body of blue wool with stand-up collar, sleeve facings, plastron and lining in red wool. Third infantry brass buttons. Costume shop stamp inside dated 1887. Fitted for epaulettes but none present. Back lining in white cotton. Showing wear, losses to buttons [faux pockets] and minor moth damage.
