Comprised of: 1)Pair of 1820s-30s American officer's gold epaulettes (2) with gold lace straps and bullion fringe, with yellow silk, padded lining underneath. Some holes and staining to the lining. Good. 2) Pair of British Army other ranks' brass scales or wings for mounted troops (2), late Georgian, c. 1820-1837. Backmarked: "L. C. NUTTING/MANUFACTURER TO THE KING/LONDON". Small dents in brass crescents.
