Comprised of: 1) Pair of red morroco leather saddle holsters with gilt-brass tips, with a pair of separate "caps" or covers, being formed leather covered with spotted fur bound with broad, red worsted, figured lace. Early 19th century, probably French. Moderate wear and some edge loss, but overall good condition. 2) Pair of 19th c. American Dragoon holsters with connecting leather piece now missing. Leather is split and flaking. Relic (poor) condition. 3) Pair of leather saddle holsters, mid-19th century, with brown holsters with brass tips, with integral caps or covers consisting of black leather tops with bearskin-covered flaps (hair mostly worn off). Girth strap of brown linen webbing with green lines attached to front of saddles holsters, webbing frayed and buckle missing. Otherwise, in fair-good condition. 4) Mid-19th century(?) red morroco leather shoulder or neck holster for a brace of small belt pistols, probably Circassian or Eastern European. Embroidered trim, metallic thread mostly worn away, exposing yellow thread core below. French red leather saddle horse holsters. Leather shows wear and some edge loss. Iron roller buckle attached to top edge behind left holster, with remains of straps attached to back of right holster. Poor to fair condition.
