It is a double breasted frock coat of cadet grey wool bearing seven button holes on each breast. These buttons are generally accepted to be post war, manufactured during the 1870-80's. Body lining of twilled, glazed cotton with machine applied padding stitches on upper breast and demonstrating a good amount of resewing along seams and linings.
