The image is that of a wild turkey flying down from tree. The bottom border is stamped "compliments of Remington Arms - Union Metallic Cartridge Company". This appears to be a prototype as it is actually oil color on heavy board. You can actually see some of the paint along the border. The first of this type we have ever seen. In a black stained period oak frame. The piece itself measures 20-3/4" x 13-1/4". We can find no signature of the artist and does not appear to have been a regular production item. Probably the original painted for reproduction as a calendar or poster. Possibly one of a kind.

Item Dimensions: Framed: 29'' x 21-1/2''.
ORIGINAL ARTWORK EARLY REMINGTON ARMS - UMC CARDBOARD ADVERTISING IN PERIOD FRAME.
