Gun (A) is stamped "WAFFENFABRIK 1900". 40,000 Mauser Oberndorf Model 96's were manufactured 1899 to 1900. Matching numbers on frame, bolt release, three times on bolt assembly, buttplate and both barrel bands and floorplate. Walnut stock and forend with brass disc on right side and sling swivels. Original cleaning rod. Threaded barrel cap is missing. Has the 600 meter military rear sight with crown. Barrel and frame retains approximately 90% of the original military blue. Trigger guard and floorplate have some age freckling. Action is perfect. Strong bore. Gun (B) is a Carl Gustafs dated 1909. Matching serial number on bolt release, three times on bolt assembly, buttplate, both barrel bands and floorplate. Identical walnut stock in addition to brass disc, right side of stock has the sighting plaque, black enameled tin stamped "GM/96". Metal retains approximately 90-95% original factory blue. Has the thread protector, metal cleaning rod. Strong bore and perfect action. This is a beautiful pair of Swedish Mausers in top condition with matching numbers. Both rifles have import stamps.
