This is a recreation of the Winchester Model 1885 single shot Hi-Wall Falling Block rifle manufactured by Browning in Japan. Features full octagon barrel, not factory tapped for sights, blued finish, gold trigger, checkered straight grip walnut stock, with solid black rubber recoil pad. Fine bore and action. The wood has numerous dings and scuffs to the finish, especially across the top of the rear comb. Metal retains virtually all of its original blue finish. Would be a great shooting rifle as is, but would really benefit from having the wood refinished and/or replaced. It is mounted with a Leupold 36x high powered scope with bubble level, a very sophisticated and expensive scope when sold. The sling eyes studs have been removed and detachable swivels are in the box, but no studs. Comes in original box.
