These Mausers were made in Berlin, Germany by Ludwig Lowe and D.W.M. Has an integral five shot magazine, full length walnut stock, military sights, swept bolt, blued finish, two barrel bands and sling swivels. This carbine has no sight protector. Has hole for cleaning rod and was probably converted from a standard rifle. It has matching serial number on frame, barrel, bolt, lower stock and magazine. Rifle retains approximately 95% of the original high polish commercial factory blue finish including butt plate and barrel. The wood is near mint. Strong rifling and perfect action. It appears that this carbine was converted by the factory given the matching parts and high condition. Both obvious wear is some thinning to blue on top of receiver bridge.
