This rifle was manufactured in 1935. This was one of the premier target rifles of it's era. It featured blued finish, military style target rear sight mounted on rear bridge dated April 27, 1920. Sporting front sight blade on ramp, single barrel band, checkered steel buttplate, walnut stock, magazine fed, and it topped with an early Stevens No. 368, 3-3/4", 19" long, tube target scope with standard cross hairs and Stevens mounts. Metal retains approximately 95% of it's original factory blue finish, walnut stock is excellent with a few usual scuffs, trigger guard shows some wear. Still retains 70% blue. It has a perfect action, fine bore. This is a great early pre-war target rifle with period correct target scope and original sights.
