Early 20th century. Brass dome with visor on front and rear. Applied embossed and pierced flaming bomb insignia with castle and banner, reading "SAPEURS/POMPIERS/DE NEUVY" in a banner. Sheet brass plume ferrule mounted on right side. Leather liner and strap. Excellent condition, brass retains a mellow patina, some minor dents and one bend on front visor. Black leather interior and strap are excellent, showing minor wear.
