A) Unsharpened tapered straight single fuller steel blade, one side marked "S.J. PILLIN/31 GERRARD ST/LONDON/W" and with large etched panel of crown over intertwined "GR/V", other side with five-pointed "PROVED" star and large etched panel with "C. BATCHELOR/1915" and British crown and crest. Nickel plated large pierced steel semi-basket with scrolls and large "GR/V" with crown, sharkskin grip with wire wrap, checkered spine. Complete with brown leather wrapped scabbard and brown leather sword knot. Excellent condition; a few light storage marks. B) Pattern 1821 Victorian Officer's Sword. Slightly curved single fuller blade, spine stamped 11013, right side of blade with etched panels of wings and ornate scrolls above a prancing lion and "VERITE SANS PEUR" and initials "WBH". Left side with large crown over stylized intertwined "VR" surrounded by ornate scrolls, top marked "HENRY/WILKINSON/PALL MALL/LONDON". Shark skin wrapped grip, three branch steel guard with checkered panel ion spine. Steel scabbard with German silver throat. Very good condition; blade excellent with light grey patina, grip missing wire wrap and has a few scuffs, hilt and scabbard retain a pitted brown patina.
