A classic example of Mills Novelty employing the Arts & Crafts theme of the time period into the construction of the quarter-sawn oak cabinetry which retains its original finish. Dropping a nickle in the coin slot would allow the viewer to see 15 "risque" pictures of the beauty pictured on the marquee. The elaborate iron castings including owls, cherubs, lions and fanciful claw feet have been re-plated in watts nickle. Variegated glass green panels within the front door panels, the lower panel/door contains an original Mills lock w/key and the original tin cash box within. Clockwork mechanism is functional & the crank to wind mechanism retained in cashbox. Circa 1910.
