Manufactured 1887. The long barrel on the Colt Lightning is rather scarce, and this is in the popular .41 caliber. Frame has the three line patent date. All matching numbers. Colt hard rubber grips are very good, smoothing in areas from wear. Most screw heads are excellent with a few light mars. Traces of original finish but basically a soft patina. Two line barrel address. Etched panel worn off. Indexes and locks up perfectly both single and double action. Strong bore.
