Manufactured 1896. This Model 1878 six shot double action revolver has a barrel that has been shortened to 4 - 5/8" and single line address. Metal is basically grey patina. Large right frame screw is a replacement. Original grips are worn with chip on left panel. Plugged lanyard. Indexes and locks up perfectly. Strong rifled bore with minor black powder abrasion. Nice cowboy action gun.
