Manufactured 1895-97. It is extremely difficult to read the second digit of the serial number and could possibly be a "5" or an "8". Features six shot and double action. One line barrel address. ".38 WCF" on left side of barrel. No serial number under ejector rod. Gun is basically a smooth, grey patina with some finish in hidden areas. Features Colt logo black grips that were replaced and are shy to metal. Has original lanyard ring. Indexes and locks up double action and single action. Defined rifling with black powder abrasion.
