Lot includes: A U.S. cartridge box, black leather with brass US plate on front flap, complete with 2 compartment tins and leather belt with oval "US" embossed buckle. Very good condition with crazing overall and some scattered marks. Missing part of small straps on bottom and one buckle has fallen off, but is present. Complete with a partial percussion cap pouch, missing one loop, and a complete percussion cap pouch, unmarked, in very good condition with some minor cracks on surface, dry overall. Also included are two buckles, one oval "US" embossed brass belt buckle, one cavalry officer's buckle, a brass Civil War period lock with key, and a bronze G.A.R. medal with shield, crossed muskets, and a gold coin in the center, which reads "FRATERNITY/CHARITY/LOYALTY/1861-1866" with a soldier on the back. A nice lot of original Civil War items right out of a western Pennsylvania barn.
