Comprising: A) Single shot percussion fowler, barrel dated "1885". Fair condition with scattered marks from use and wear, missing end-cap on forend and with some scattered freckling on barrel. B) Percussion Double Barrel 18-bore shotgun by Wheeler & Son of London. Round barrels with solid rib marked "WM NEEDLER 26 SILVER ST. HULL" with front bead absent, patent hooked breeches with silver clean out valves on bolsters. Scroll engraved percussion lockplates marked "WHEELER & SON". Double triggers and scarce triggerguard safety, bow stamped with relief crest and "SOMERVILLE'S PATENT/MADE FOR/WHEELER & SON/MAKERS". Figured walnut half-stock with checkered wrist and straight stock, engraved steel furniture. Fair condition, dark patina overall and showing heavy wear and scattered marks, wrist has been broken and repaired. Dark patina overall. Rarely seen safety mechanism on a nice diminutive English double hammer shotgun, worth restoring!
