.180 large BB caliber/darts. First use of "friction latch barrel": a section of rear frame snaps over raised part of trigger guard part of frame - holding gun together by friction; this replaced barrel release button of previous king air rifles. Fixed muzzle cap over outside of barrel shroud. Mfg. 1900-04. Not much original finish remains. Slab-sided stock stamped "New King" on one side and patent dates on other side. Stock is in good condition with some various small bumps and scrapes. Fine action.
