This rifle is listed in the "Blue Book of Air Guns 11th Edition" page 599. These were built in the 1920's-30's. Three variations listed. Sheet metal construction, spring fed tubular magazine, fixed sights, "SAVAGE" in large letters on frame, black enamel finish, and wood stock. Barrel is stamped "SAVAGE PLAY RIFLE". Right side has the traditional Savage decal with Indian in war bonnet with rifle in hand. Approximately 50% original enamel. Stock is very good with usual play wear. Never seen with the original decal this intact.
