In the book on the Model 1911 by Joe Poyer on page 208, these magazines are referred to as Type III. The sides of the base are not exposed; has five "Witness" holes; is two-toned with visible temper line; pinned base; blued finish. One of the magazines is missing the loop. These magazines were factory issue on U.S. Government semi-automatic pistol from serial no.s 42001-125566 (1913 to 1915). All are in excellent all original condition. 80-90% blue on the base of the three loops. Magazine with missing loop is brown patina.
