Straight tapered steel blade marked on left side "PH". German silver hilt with rocker panel engraving and flowers on pommel. Acorn shaped finial on top pulls out to reveal a fork secured inside the grip with springs on tines. Mother of Pearl grip scales with borders on top and bottom. Complete with brown leather sheath. Blade has been polished and shows some scattered spotting and wear. Hilt is unpolished and shows some wear and scattered marks from use. Two round escutcheons missing from pins on right side of grip scale. Scabbard shows separated seam near top of blade and tip with a few scuffs. Overall, this is a very well designed and attractive dress knife with an innovative design.
