A WWI Imperial German Navy dagger with a 13" lightly engraved blade made by Eickhorn. Very nice leather scabbard as well. Handguard is engraved with the name of "Jörgensen". Heinrich Jörgensen was a member of the minelaying submarine UC-36. UC-36 was credited with sinking 24 ships (Wikipedia; UC-36) before she was sunk on May 30, 1917 in the English Channel. Consignor included a German document listing the crew members. A unique opportunity to own a dagger to a documented U-boat officer of WWI.

Condition: (Very Good).
