A WWI Imperial Navy dagger with a 13" grooved blade. Scabbard absent. Handguard is engraved with the name "Graef". Edmund Graef was a senior engineer on U-35, the most successful U-Boat ever, credited with 224 ships sunk (Wikipedia; U-35)! Consignor included a document listing the partial crew of U-35. A unique opportunity to own a dagger documented to a crew member of Germany's most successful U-boat.
