Octagonal rifled steel barrel engraved with sprigs of scrollwork at breech, bottom stamped with two English proofmarks. Six-shot cylinder with engraved border and English proofs between each chamber. Double action percussion box lock bar hammer action engraved on both sides with scrolls and borders, left side engraved "BOSTON/WAKEFIELD". Checkered wooden bag grip with vacant oval escutcheon of German silver on wrist. Fair condition, grey patina overall with some edge wear and scattered marks. Bottom of frame, beneath cylinder, is refinished with browning and probably replaced. Grip good with some light wear and marks.
