Round smoothbore barrel with trace of date on tang. Retained to stock with large steel band on forend. Flat lockplate shows traces of markings and has a rounded cock, replaced probably during the period of use. Standard steel mounts and full length walnut stock. Fair condition; metal has been cleaned, has scattered areas of dark spots and marks from use. Stock good with some minor losses and scattered marks. This is a seldom seen pistol that could have been used during the American Revolutionary War.
