Manufactured 1927. Factory letter states that this revolver was shipped on October 24th, 1927 to Toledo Revolver & Pistol Club in Toledo, Ohio and was shipped as a 5" blue with butt swivel and checkered walnut non-medallion grips. It is a double action revolver built on the large square butt N frame with five screw and pin barrel. Matching serial number on barrel and cylinder. This revolver retains 85% original factory blue. Sharp factory legends. Walnut grips have matching serial number written in light pencil. Traces of case colors on hammer and trigger. Indexes perfectly. Strong clean bore. Previous owner has lightly etched initials "WC" twice on left side of frame with the date 2-28-66 and once into the right side as well. Right side of the barrel has some light salt and pepper pitting approximately 1" from muzzle. Diamond checkered walnut grips are in excellent condition. Fine revolver as is, great restoration project.
