This is a mahogany finished wood, hand carved pedestal stand or side table. The leg of the table and top surface underneath the circular glass features a gorgeous complex design. The wood has been intricately shaped to resemble a lion with wings. The lion goes by many names through different mythological stories- the Griffin, the deity Shedu, etc.. The same fierce lion is etched onto the surface of the table. 3 claws extend 4 inches from the table. Minimal signs of wear to this one of a kind piece.
