This rare floor model amusement machine features a figural cast iron body with rope emerging from its torso. Players would measure their strength by tugging on the rope and, if they pulled hard enough, a small devil figure would pop up in the small window at the top of the face. This example is mounted to a solid wooden base with a modern rubber mat. The 17" marquee and the small devil figure are not original to the machine. A 2" hole is evident on the right side of the back cabinet. In working order. Circa 1904. Four keys are provided.
