This lot consists of a brand new platinum and diamond engagement ring from Tiffany & Co., size 6-3/4. This round brilliant diamond has a total dwt of 3.0. The following is inscribed on the interior of the band: "Tiffany & Co. PT950 17402374 .85CT." This piece comes with its original Tiffany & Co. black suede box with navy interior. It is also accompanied by a Tiffany & Co. certificate as well as a GIA certificate. The GIA Diamond Grading Report is dated March 2002 and is GIA report number 11925253. The report notes that the diamond is a round brilliant and is 0.85 carats with the following measurements: 6.13 - 6.16 x 3.74 mm. GIA has graded the diamond to have VS1 clarity and D color with no fluorescence. The polish is very good and symmetry is excellent. Please note that the Tiffany & Co. Diamond Certificate notes all of the same information that is found in the GIA report. The Tiffany & Co. Diamond Certificate notes the diamond registration number: 17402374/D05030307.
