The Model 59 was considered the first of the "Wonder 9" breed. It has the traditional double action with double column high capacity magazine. It is a 14 shot with an alloy frame and steel slide. Manufactured from 1971 to 1982. This particular pistol was manufactured 1977/78. Features the high polish nickel finish with brush nickel top, contrasting blue small parts and adjustable rear sight. Retains approximately 98-99% original factory nickel. Fine bore and action. Sports a pair of Smith & Wesson faux pearl grips.
