Manufactured 1897. Rifle features full round barrel, full magazine, sporting front sight, semi-buckhorn sporting rear sight, walnut stocks, and rifle butt. All metal surfaces retain approximately 98% of the reapplied blue finish. Lettering visible but thinning. Wood is very good, flush with metal, refinished with dull oil, and no cracks or chips. Fine action. Bore exhibits strong rifling. Good cowboy-action shooter.
