Barrel is stamped "RA 7-43" with Ordnance bomb. This is a typical World War II rebuild. Left side of stock has the "F. J. A." (Frank Atwood) Remington inspector stamp, Ordnance wheel, and "RA" for Raritan Arsenal. Has all pressed World War II parts, rear bridge A3 sight, matte blue-black finish on frame, walnut hand guard with no groove, pin straight stock with no finger groove, checkered buttplate with trap. Top of comb is stamped "2235". Wood is excellent with a few minor bumps. Frame retains 95% original finish, as does barrel. ME reading: 1.5. TE reading: 1. Some wear to trigger guard finish. Block "P" in circle under wrist.
