Lithographed cotton cloth depicts two bears, one emulating Teddy Roosevelt, carrying a Canadian lynx on a pole. This political cartoon, Copyright 1907 by Schwab & Wolf of New York, was created as a nod towards the Canada-Alaska border issue of 1903, which was resolved during Roosevelt's tenure as president. His phrase "I did it" can be seen on the hat of one of the bears. This cloth is hand-stitched to an off-white backing cloth and is set behind glass in a contemporary frame.
