Made by T.H. Tattler Decorating Co. in 1900, this planter was obtained during the Pan-AM Expo in Buffalo, NY in 1901. It is colored in dark green with a colorful rendering of an Indian Chief displayed at the front and a buffalo on the back. There is a die-cut top with sculpted Victorian designs seen throughout and two opposite hand sculpted handles. There is a stunning Victorian design sculpted all around the top and base of the pedestal. The dark green shade fades to a lighter green once reaching the center. The pedestal is 16"T x 11"Dia. Minor wear, outstanding example.
