Tapered two stage steel barrel with proof marks on left side of breech, probably Belgian. Flintlock mechanism with rounded lockplate and cock. Cast brass furniture features military motifs. Plain walnut stock profusely inlaid with silver scrolls and flowers. Each petal or leaf is engraved. Bone tip wooden ramrod. Very good condition; barrel and lock retain a dark grey patina. Brass is unpolished. Silver retains a dark patina with a few small pieces of wire missing. Stock with a few light marks, otherwise very good. This is a nice, well-made example of a Middle Eastern flintlock.
