Comprising: two pairs of English officer's epaulettes; one silver and one gilt. The gilt pair with a badge on top of both featuring a crown over crossed rifles. Both pairs are in very good condition. Silver pair almost completely unpolished and showing little wear. Gilt pair with some wear to finish and scattered dark spots on shoulders. Also includes an unidentified set of gilt epaulettes, each with two silver stars on shoulder bar and convex brass buttons with arms motifs. This set is in excellent condition, showing very little wear. Lastly, a bicorn hat of black felt with French ribbon on front and convex silver button with initials "EF" and a double headed axe. Inside marked "Andre Berthet" with a Paris address. Excellent condition; with some fading around edges and a few minor marks. All items in this lot probably 19th century.
