This was the last Mosin Nagant introduced. Fitted with a folding bayonet hinged at the barrel muzzle, and carbine weighs nine pounds. Manufactured in Poland and Romania. Still being used in the 1980's in Afghanistan. This particular example is dated 1954. Bolt is stamped "LE116". Left side of frame is import stamped and is numbered "SK662", as is buttplate and floorplate. This arsenal rebuild retains approximately 90% of its original finish. Stock has some white paint unit numbers on right side. Numerous proofs. Bolt is finished in the white. Comes with a period sling. Fine bore and action.
